I had originally planned to have Obsession published last year but found that I needed to change the ending as I had revised where I wanted to go with Book Three.
So now I am in the midst of re-writing Obsession and I am finding it quite challenging actually. I just can’t seem to shape the story exactly how I want it to go. When I read back what I have written I find that I have been head hopping very badly. Then I just get frustrated and leave it alone again.
This is starting to cause me all sorts of stress as I am anxious to get started on writing the second trilogy in the Celtic Fae Legend series.
The characters from the trilogy are starting to speak to me very loudly and they are demanding that their story be told as soon as possible. Problem is, I can’t fully concentrate on their story while Ros and Mac’s story is still incomplete.
What a dilemma. I’m not sure what to do with this. Perhaps I just need to put a hold on the Tempest Beach Series for a bit longer while I write the second Trilogy. I’m not sure I would be able to finish it even then as I have another trilogy idea (not the Celtic Fae Legend but another series) in the early planning stages which I will be anxious to start.
This is why I feel that I need to finish up Obsession first. Otherwise 2013 will be over and I won’t have finished book two let alone book three. My goal was to have the Tempest Beach Series finished before the end of this year.
I think that I will have to be more disciplined with myself and just get it done.:)
