I am now busy working on the next trilogy installment for the Celtic Fae Legend Series of books. The Blazing Fire Trilogy is the title of the next installment and gradually becomes a little darker than the first three books. Aberlone is under attack from an unknown enemy and the future of the Fae Kingdom rests squarely on one woman’s shoulders. Blaise Morrison is a tough Fire Faery and is the last of her kind. Only she can save the Kingdom from a dark fate. Only she doesn’t realize this and Kailen Drake has to convince her to come home to Aberlone and save the day.
The first book in this new trilogy will follow Isobel’s journey. You may remember that Isobel is the Mother of Dera, Eira and Gwenna. She has spent the last ten years living in isolation in a private wing of her parents Castle in Aberlone because she was so grief stricken at the loss of the love of her life, her husband, Francis. (Her parents being the King and Queen of the fairies, Geraint and Isolde.)
If you read Gwenna’s story you will remember that she found out she was pregnant with Aiden’s baby quite close to the end of the book so Isobel has been patiently waiting for the birth of her first grandchild. Isobel’s story begins just as the baby is about to be born. Will it be a boy or a girl? The birth brings about a kind of re-birth for Isobel as she realizes she is wasting her life away buried in grief. She decides it is time to start living again and informs her parents that she will be taking up her seat on the Council once again.
It is at the first Council meeting she encounters Drew Morrison. Their attraction to each other is immediate and explosive as they butt heads just about every time they meet. Isobel is beginning to feel alive once again and she isn’t so sure that is a good thing. But something bigger is brewing in Aberlone as the unknown enemy strikes several times on the unaware inhabitants of the Kingdom. It is up to the Council to come up with a plan to defeat the unknown enemy.
Drew Morrison is Blaise’s estranged father. He knows that Blaise won’t listen to him so he entrusts the mission to bring her home from the human realm, where she has been living for most of her life, with Kailen Drake. Kailen is Aberlone’s most trusted warrior and he is happy to oblige his mentor and friend. What will happen? Keep watching this space for more updates…
